Co-Op - Welding Engineer - Industrial Equipment & Automation Division

Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Support Specialist at our new Customer Experience Center. This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the welding industry. You will work closely with experienced professionals across our welding brands and support teams in the execution of technical demonstrations, customer visits, lab organization, and inventory. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in welding technology, looking to grow their career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and maintaining lab equipment for product demonstrations and testing.
• Help organize and maintain inventory of welding equipment, filler metals, and related office supplies.
• Participate in training sessions and learn about ITW welding brands and product offerings.
• Help ensure the lab environment is safe, clean, and ready for scheduled activities.
• Provide general administrative support such as scheduling, document printing, shipping and receiving.

Qualifications: 1-2 years’ welding experience – Current Welding Technology student or recent graduate.

Some exposure to welding processes preferred, hands-on welding or fabrication experience a plus. Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual language skills a plus, but not required.
