JOB DESCRIPTION:
Overview:
Individual contributor role with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area. Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.
Role & responsibilities:
This role requires ensures timely, accurate, and compliant accounting close and reporting. The role drives close-cycle optimisation, reconciliation quality, and audit readiness.
Month end closing & reporting:
- Responsible for month end closing in SAP & Hyperion
- Well versed with RTR processes.
- Monthly/ quarterly schedule preparation & submission for review in Smartsheet.
- Provide adequate support and documentation to other functions like taxation, credit control, payroll as & when required.
- Ensure accurate booking of sales accruals, lease accounting, Debenture interest accounting & provisions.
- Monthly preparation of actual P&L and sharing with stakeholders.
Tax support, statutory, internal audits & internal controls:
- Responsible for & directly involved with Big 4 for statutory closing.
- Support during various audits & tax assessments.
- Preparation of statutory financials.
- MSME and RBI reporting requirements
Inventory accounting:
- Responsible for inventory management including provisioning & write off as per approval matrix.
- Physical verification of inventory as per the corporate policy.
Fixed assets accounting & reporting:
- Depreciation run & fixed assets accounting as per the UGAAP & Income tax act.
- Physical verification of assets as per policy
- Maintain records for Demo assets & reconciliation.
Candidate Requirements:
- MBA / CA intermediate with minimum 3-5 years of experience.
- Must have knowledge of RTR processes & GL accounting.
- Good analytical and strong communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Travelling may be required as per business need.
