Job Description
The Microsoft 365 Copilot team is seeking a Technical Senior Product Marketer to drive technical product marketing across our Microsoft 365 Copilot portfolio. In this role, you will develop deep expertise in product truth across user experiences, capabilities, integrations, and platform requirements. You’ll translate complex technical concepts into clear, user‑centric messaging that connects product capabilities to real business outcomes for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
You will partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to validate claims, document how things work (and where they don’t), and develop proof points and scenarios that make it easy for customers to understand the value of Copilot and why it’s different. You will also build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive solutions including the end-to-end experience and overall positioning, so our differentiation is specific, credible, and rooted in real-world evaluation. This role is ideal for a technical marketer who loves getting into the details and can still tell a clear, compelling story.

Own technical product positioning and messaging for the Microsoft 365 Copilot portfolio that’s grounded in product truth, customer needs, and competitive reality.
Build comprehensive product expertise by partnering with engineering and PM to understand architecture, integrations, dependencies, limitations, functionality, and roadmap direction and translate that into simple, accurate narratives.
Lead product-truth validation for customer-facing assets (web, demos, core content) and ensure claims are specific, testable, and aligned to current state.
Shape product experiences by bringing customer feedback, market signals, and competitive learnings into readiness and prioritization discussions.
Develop technical storytelling frameworks that help audiences understand “how it works” and “why it matters,” especially for IT, decision makers, and end users.
Partner with the storytelling team to evolve our messaging and assets (e.g., narrative briefs, value propositions, talk tracks, demo story arcs, FAQs, and objection handling) that tell a consistent, differentiated Copilot story across various channels.
Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitor solutions (positioning, feature sets, workflows, strengths/limitations), and translate insights into differentiated messaging and proof points.
