Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Sr. Assistant II in Ops team to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions for Jabil, Inc. This role will focus on transforming complex data into actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making across various departments.
Job Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.
* Connect to various data sources (SQL databases, Excel, web services, etc.) and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Power Query.
* Develop complex DAX queries for data modeling, calculations, and advanced analytics within Power BI.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.
* Implement data security and access controls within Power BI.
* Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.
* Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
* 1+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar business intelligence role.
* Proven expertise in designing and developing compelling Power BI reports and dashboards.
* Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations and data modeling.
* Extensive experience with Power Query for data transformation and ETL processes.
* Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
* Experience with data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with business users and technical teams.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
