About the role
Job Purpose:
At Soho House, the Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements. As the Finance Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, inventory control, and cash management, while partnering with operational teams to support business performance.
You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting budgeting processes, and maintaining effective communication between finance and operational departments, particularly in relation to Food & Beverage operations.
Main Duties:
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Prepare accurate MIS reports and financial analysis for management review
- Support the Financial Controller in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records, including inventory reports
Inventory & Cost Control
- Coordinate with Operational Managers and Chefs to monitor food & beverage inventory discrepancies
- Recommend corrective actions and maintain inventory records for audit and reference
- Support cost control initiatives to improve operational efficiency
Cash & Payment Control
- Oversee and control cash handling procedures across the House
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in daily cash operations
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Verify supplier invoices to ensure correct pricing, quantities, and approvals in line with contracts
- Ensure timely payments and collections
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist Operational Managers in preparing annual budgets and forecasts for revenue and expenses
- Support financial planning and variance analysis
Tax & Compliance
- Manage all tax-related requirements, including reconciliations, payments, and filings (e.g., GST, VAT, Income Tax, etc.)
- Assist in statutory compliance and ensure adherence to local regulations
Audit & Controls
- Support the planning and execution of internal and external audits
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies
Team Management & Coordination
- Delegate tasks to finance team members and monitor performance
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements / Qualifications:
A successful Finance Manager for Soho House will have strong experience in financial operations within a fast-paced environment, preferably in hospitality, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, and operations
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, tax, and compliance
- Experience in hospitality or F&B environment preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English (Thai advantageous)
