About the role

What You'll Do:

  • Create high quality, maintainable code that processes and analyzes almost 35 Billions events daily (with important organic grow)
  • Utilize one the largest private Hadoop clusters in the world that push the limits of modern data processing like spark
  • Design and perfect data ingestion pipelines at scale  for large data on streaming
  • Own and continuously elevate the quality, reliability, and integrity of our most critical large‑scale datasets for catalog's products.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and trustworthiness of  data assets across our Hadoop ecosystem.
  • In a team of 5-7, you will be working closely with your mentor to drive your project, design and ensure best practices are applied. You can ask questions and participate in all knowledge-sharing sessions/workshops, etc. You are encouraged to actively voice your ideas whilst learning how to build and ship quality code into production also helped  by  IA agents,  which will likely affect millions of users instantly.

Who You Are:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience with developing and extending large and complex systems.
  • Master in Computer science or engineering school or any relevant field
  • Familiar with this technical stack : Scala/Java,  Spark/ Hadoop/ Hive  and relevant experience in Object Oriented Programming (C#, Python, C++, Java)
  • You are curious about innovative technologies, eventually leading personal subjects on the matter.
  • A can do attitude and the ability to work on problems by thinking positively and in a collaborative manner.
  • You worked in Agile environments and you are passionate about shipping high quality code!
  • Good level of English (at least B2 intermediate)
