About Radar

Radar is the global leader in geolocation, with geofencing SDKs, maps APIs, and AI-enabled solutions for marketing, fraud, and operations teams.

Why is Radar the best place to work?

  • We're trusted by some of the world's best companies, from high-growth startups to the Fortune 500.

  • We have incredible scale: We're processing over 1 billion API calls per day from hundreds of millions of devices.

  • We're well-resourced, and we've raised $85.5M from world-class investors, including Accel and Insight Partners.

  • We have a high-performance culture, with ambitious and entrepreneurial teammates in every role.

  • We recently moved into an amazing new office in Flatiron, Manhattan, NYC.

  • We were recently named a top 10 best place to work in NYC by Crain's.

Despite our growth and scale, we're still just getting started. That's where you come in.

About the role

We're looking for a Senior / Staff Product Manager to own product strategy and execution for Radar Protect, our geo-compliance and fraud detection solution. This role is based in our NYC HQ.

Fraud teams are entering a new era. Today, most fraud stacks rely heavily on IP-based location signals, which are increasingly easy to manipulate with VPNs, proxies, residential IP networks, emulators, device farms, and GPS spoofing tools. We believe real-time, device-level location will become a standard part of every modern fraud stack.

Radar Protect is the product making that possible. Protect is already growing rapidly in gaming, where location and compliance are business-critical. We're now expanding into prediction markets, fintech, marketplaces, on-demand, and e-commerce, where the same real-time location and device signals can transform how teams prevent fraud.

This is a chance to build a category-defining product at the intersection of location, identity, risk, compliance, and AI.

What you'll do:

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, execution, and customer outcomes for one of Radar's fastest-growing products, Radar Protect

  • Work closely with customers and prospects to understand their fraud workflows, identify where existing tools fall short, and turn those insights into products that fraud teams use every day

  • Lead a full-stack product team of engineers and designers shipping across backend systems, frontend experiences, mobile and web SDKs, APIs, rules engines, dashboards, network graph exploration, logging, monitoring, and desktop apps for macOS and Windows

  • Write crisp product specs, 1-pagers, documentation, and launch plans

  • Use AI to move faster: creating designs, prototypes, analyses, documentation, and even code changes where useful

  • Run sprint planning, QA product experiences, keep projects on track, and help the team ship high-quality work quickly

  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and company leadership to define the category and win the market

Bonus points if you:

  • Have worked on anti-fraud, risk, identity, trust and safety, compliance, payments, fintech, gaming, marketplaces, or developer platform products

  • Have owned technical products that include SDKs, APIs, rules engines, dashboards, data pipelines, or real-time decisioning systems

  • Are a former founder or have operated with founder-level ownership

The hiring process:

After a call with our Technical Recruiter, you'll do several Zoom calls with members of our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams. If those go well, we'll invite you to our NYC HQ for a final round interview. You'll meet one of our co-founders, someone from outside EPD, and more people from around the company.

You'll work with:

  • Nick Patrick, Co-Founder and CEO

  • Tim Julien, CTO

  • The Radar Protect Engineering and Design team

  • Our customers and prospects

  • Our Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Sales teams

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary

  • Meaningful stock options in a fast-growing company

  • 401(k) plan with 4% match

  • New HQ in Flatiron, NYC

  • Top-notch equipment

  • Catered lunches

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance with 100% coverage for employees

  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave

  • Commuter and fitness benefits

Compensation:

For candidates based in the United States, the base salary range for this full-time position is between $200,000 - $300,000/year with an opportunity for performance bonuses and incentives.

In addition to cash compensation, Radar offers full-time employees stock option grants under its equity plan. This is a meaningful ownership stake in the company we provide to our employees as we build a category-defining company.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
