SAP S/4HANA Quality Management Functional Engineer AMS

Designs, develops and optimizes digital services to meet business and user requirements. Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of solutions and continuously improves system performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Define functional specifications for digital services creation and management
Translate business requirements into functional designs and IT solutions
Collaborate with development teams to deliver user stories into working solutions
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against business needs
Monitor digital service performance and identify improvement opportunities
Analyze and resolve functional issues in line with governance processes
Maintain up-to-date documentation of functional designs and process changes
Provide training and guidance to end-users on new or updated functionalities
Act as a trusted advisor for Product Owners, Service Owners and business stakeholders
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers within the functional domain
Work in cross-functional teams to ensure quality, performance and usability of delivered solutions

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Experience in digital services, IT solutions or software development
Proven ability to translate business needs into functional specifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or similar methodologies)
Good stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment
Fluent English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have
