JOB DESCRIPTION – QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST  

Location: Taipei, Taiwan 

Division: Ticketmaster APAC 

Line Manager:  Database Engineering Coordinator 

Contract Terms: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week

THE TEAM 團隊 

The Tixcraft Engineering team plays a vital role in the development of the ticketing platform for the business in Taiwan. This includes working closely with the local products and IT teams to execute the projects on the roadmap.

THE JOB 職位說明 

 

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications throughout the product lifecycle. Your primary objective is to identify and address defects or issues to deliver a high-quality end product that meets specified standards and fulfills user requirements. You will work within agile ceremonies to align testing efforts with current development priorities, ensuring that products support Ticketmaster’s overall strategy while meeting revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 工作內容 

 

As a cross-functional quality expert, your responsibilities include: 

  • Test Planning & Strategy: Developing comprehensive test plans that outline the testing approach, resources, and schedules in collaboration with developers and business analysts. 

  • Test Case Design & Execution: Creating detailed test cases based on functional and technical specifications (User Stories and Acceptance Criteria) to evaluate software functionality through manual and automated testing. 

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Leading UAT to ensure features meet defined requirements and are compatible across various environments, including Apps, mobile devices, and multiple browser types. 

  • Defect Management: Identifying, documenting, and prioritizing defects found during testing, and working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. 

  • Agile Collaboration: Facilitating and participating in ceremonies such as check-ins, retrospectives, solution workshops, and Discovery kick-offs to provide input on product quality. 

  • Regression & Performance Testing: Performing regression testing to ensure new changes do not affect existing functions, and assessing system stability under different conditions. 

  • Market Enablement: Providing local markets with product resources and supporting internal teams through Product Training on new features. 

  • Global Liaison: Communicating testing progress and potential risks to international stakeholders across product, engineering, and design. 

  • Other duties as required by the business and manager from time to time

  • 使用者驗收測試UAT):主導 UAT確保功能符合既定需求,並能在各種環境中正常運作,包括應用程式、行動裝置及多種瀏覽器 

  • 缺陷管理Defect Management):在測試過程中識別、記錄並排序缺陷優先級,並與開發團隊密切合作,確保問題能及時修復 

  • 敏捷協作Agile Collaboration):促進並參與各項敏捷流程會議,如進度檢視、回顧會議、解決方案工作坊及需求探索啟動會議,提供產品品質相關建議 

  • 回歸與效能測試Regression & Performance Testing):執行回歸測試以確保新變更不影響既有功能,並評估系統在不同條件下的穩定性 

  • 市場支援Market Enablement):為各地市場提供產品相關資源,並透過產品培訓支援內部團隊了解新功能 

  • 全球協調Global Liaison):產品、工程及設計等國際利害關係人溝通測試進度與潛在風險 

  • 依業務需求及主管指示,不定期執行其他相關職務 

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 須有技能 

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS 

 

  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled in Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), Asana, and Figma for tracking defects, documentation, and reviewing designs. 

  • Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of various testing methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC). 

  • Analytical Documentation: Excellent written skills for designing test cases and producing reports on project productivity and quality metrics. 

  • Technical Savvy: Ability to understand technical limitations when scoping projects and evaluating system architecture. 

  • UX Foundations: A solid understanding of high-level UX principles to evaluate software from the end-user perspective. 

  • Organizational Excellence: Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
