Job Summary**

Jabil, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinery & Equipment Engineer with expertise in Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) material development and analysis. This role is crucial for optimizing LSR processes, ensuring material quality, and contributing to innovative product design and manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities**

* Lead the development, testing, and implementation of new LSR materials and processes.
* Conduct in-depth analysis of LSR material properties, including mechanical, thermal, and rheological characteristics.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LSR molding, equipment, and material performance.
* Design, specify, and procure new machinery and equipment for LSR processing, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
* Optimize existing LSR manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality improvement.
* Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to integrate LSR solutions into new product development.
* Perform root cause analysis for material and process failures, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
* Maintain accurate documentation of material specifications, test procedures, and process parameters.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in LSR materials and processing.
* Provide technical support and training to production staff on LSR-related matters.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in machinery and equipment engineering, with a strong focus on Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) materials and processing.
* In-depth knowledge of LSR material properties, molding techniques, and curing mechanisms.
* Proven experience in material characterization techniques (e.g., rheology, DSC, TGA, DMA, tensile testing).
* Strong understanding of machinery and equipment associated with LSR manufacturing (e.g., injection molding machines, dosing systems, molds).
* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
* Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
* Experience with CAD software and simulation tools is a plus.
