Role Overview
The Analyst – Systematic Literature Review (SLR) supports evidence generation activities through structured literature reviews and research analysis. This role focuses on conducting literature searches, screening studies, extracting data, and supporting evidence synthesis activities. The Analyst works closely with project teams and senior researchers to deliver high-quality literature review outputs that support healthcare and life sciences decision-making.
Here's what you'll be doing:
• Support the design and development of systematic review protocols and research frameworks.
• Conduct literature searches across databases such as PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library.
• Perform systematic and targeted literature reviews to support evidence generation projects.
• Screen abstracts and full-text articles based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Extract and organize clinical, epidemiological, economic, and humanistic outcomes data from published studies.
• Conduct quality assessment and critical appraisal of identified literature.
• Support evidence synthesis, analysis, and reporting activities.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, manuscripts, posters, and publications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in client discussions as required.
• Maintain organized documentation and reference libraries using tools such as EndNote or Reference Manager.
Here's what you'll need:
• B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience conducting systematic literature reviews, targeted literature reviews, or healthcare research.
• Understanding of systematic review methodologies and evidence synthesis techniques.
• Familiarity with literature databases including PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library.
• Experience with EndNote, Reference Manager, or similar citation management tools.
• Knowledge of data extraction and quality assessment methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience authoring manuscripts, publications, posters, or conference presentations is preferred.
Typical Experience
• 0–2 years of experience in Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR), healthcare research, or evidence synthesis.
• PhD candidates with relevant academic SLR experience may be considered.
• For B.Pharm/M.Pharm candidates, 1–2 years of experience in literature reviews within HEOR or healthcare research is preferred.
