Hours:
1st Shift, 6:00AM - 2:00PM
Pay: $22.24
What Will You Do?
- Create and execute visual management of inventory levels in purchased parts markets
- Communicate potential shortages to cycle counters and/or material coordinators
- Ensure purchased part markets are conforming to the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) plan layout
- Develop and maintain 5S standards for parts markets – assist with updating standard work, training to standard work, and auditing when appropriate
- Update market metric boards on a daily basis
- Create and support all process changes to purchased parts markets – new parts, stock utilization, identifying obsolete parts
- Perform Kanban card audits
- Assist with physical layout and implementation of purchased parts markets
- Material handle purchased parts as needed using mobile equipment
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
- Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
- Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
What Do You Need?
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while additional ability to work well with others in a collaborative manner
- High attention to organization and detail
- Working knowledge of all MS Office applications preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to create and follow standard work and procedures
- Previous forklift experience and/or ability to become forklift certified
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally
