This position reports to:

R&D Team Lead

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the R&D product certification to get the report and certificate on time.
  • Conduct regular V&V (Verification & Validation) to close loop the electrical design on controller, manipulator and robot system, with
    • Test strategy, EUT configuration, and optimized resource & schedule developing.
    • Test specification definition.
    • Execution test, reporting, and summary presenting.
    • Test issue analysis and support debugging
  • Responsible for product certification for robot product in global market, including but not limited to MD for EU, UL/CSA for north American, GB safety standards for China. And driving and communicating with local R&D team, global across team, certification NB (UL, TUV, SGS, STIEE, etc.) and 3rd part lab.
  • Responsible for maintaining product certification instruction and process.
  • Lead to guide and build the controller and manipulator test library and procedures adapt to compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical engineering, power electronics, industrial automation or related.
  • For bachelor at least 5+ years related working experience. For master, 3+ year related working experience in R&D certification or electrical safety validation.
  • Able to deeply understand IEC 61800 5-1, UL 61800-5-1 & IEC 61000 series, and have practical experience in leading product certification and related testing.
  • Familiar with product design and development process. PMP certificate is a plus.
  • Good read, written and oral English skills.
  • Independently work and problem solve skill.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a project team.
