Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and walkdown piping system for turnover
- Coordinate inspections and provide status update
- Perform welding visual inspections of pressure piping and structural installations
- Coordinate hydro test tracking and coordination
- Coordinate Welding NDE tracking program and data entry
- Coordinate PWHT to code specifications, evaluate charts
- Identify process improvements
Qualifications:
- CWB Level II Certified Welding Inspector
- Minimum 4 yrs + related experience.
- Proven ability to manage quality procedures and processes
- Ability to perform inspections to comply with approved ITP’s and code requirements
- Ability to interpret CSA W59, ASME B31.3 & B31.1 Codes
- Able to interpret ASME weld procedures, know differences for welding carbon, stainless, chrome steels
- Familiar with welding processes SMAW, GTAW
