Position Overview

The Relationship Manager Associate supports relationship management and strategic retail client engagement efforts across Amwins’ Brokerage Division. This role partners closely with National Relationship Managers to support key initiatives, deliver reporting and insights, coordinate projects, and enhance internal relationship infrastructure.

This is a highly visible and strategically important, execution-focused role centered on reporting, presentation development, data analysis, project coordination, and internal connectivity across multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while supporting a strategically important function.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management Support

  • Partner with National Relationship Managers to support broker and retail client engagement strategies.
  • Help strengthen connectivity between internal teams, brokers, and retail clients through coordinated execution.
  • Support internal initiatives designed to improve visibility, responsiveness, and relationship effectiveness.

Reporting, Analytics & Business Insights

  • Analyze performance and relationship data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Build, maintain, and distribute internal reports, retailer-facing reports, and executive-ready materials.
  • Manage monthly KPI reporting for contracted retail clients, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Prepare executive-ready PowerPoint presentations for retailer meetings, internal strategy discussions, and relationship initiatives.
  • Work hands-on in Excel to organize, validate, analyze, and present data in a clear and actionable format.

Project & Event Coordination

  • Lead or support coordination of events, sponsorships, and retailer engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with retailer training events, including planning, materials, and follow-up communication.
  • Support special projects tied to retailer initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Coordinate deliverables across multiple stakeholders to ensure timelines and execution stay on track.

Agency Management & Operational Support

  • Maintain and update the Retail Client database in partnership with internal teams.
  • Support internal communications related to retail client M&A activity, new opportunities, and relationship updates.
  • Assist with National Producer Agreements, Supplemental Agreements, and related communications.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, visibility, and execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business or related field preferred.
  • Experience in project coordination, business operations, sales support, or a related functions.
  • Insurance experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to build reports, organize data, and develop polished, executive-ready materials.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or related reporting tools is a plus.
  • Comfort working with data, presentations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Candidates should be comfortable demonstrating practical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools as part of the interview process.
