Overview of the role
As a member of the Finance & Administration team, the Finance Supervisor will be responsible to support the Sales Team, for the Pricing and Customer maintenance Team based in Montreal. The responsibilities will encompass timely and accurate maintenance of our customer and price database, while ensuring effective financial processes, practices and controls are in place.
Employees may be eligible to work remotely one day per week.
How you will make contributions that matter :
Lead, coach, and develop the pricing and customer master data team while supporting strong execution.
Lead the national price increase process and ensure a high level of accuracy;
Serve as a trusted partner to the national sales team on pricing, promotional activity, and customer creation matters;
Manage Saputo’s partnership with external suppliers to ensure pricing accuracy for both parties;
Take an active role in supporting day-to-day tasks while balancing supervisory responsibilities.
Analyze large volumes of pricing and customer data to generate actionable insights;
Develop and ensure proper controls are in place
Complete business analyses and other projects as assigned from time to time;
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer service excellence.
Supporting internal/external audit requests;
Execute and lead ERP cleanup initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional departments;
You are the best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Administration or a related field;
3–5 years of experience in a similar finance role, including supervisory experience;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with subject matter experts, and diverse stakeholders;
Excellent attention to detail;
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize workload;
Collaborative team player with a proven ability to build strong working relationships;
Knowledge of AS 400 is an asset
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel (VBA), Access, PowerPoint, and Business intelligence.
As part of their duties, the position holder will be required to communicate and collaborate in English and French, both orally and in writing, with colleagues or other stakeholders located in Québec, elsewhere in Canada, or across North America.
