Our team is looking for an EHS Manager to join us in support of Moog's Baguio Commercial Aircraft and Industrial Group operations. You will lead the Environmental, Health & Safety function for a manufacturing environment producing highly engineered components for the commercial aircraft and industrial sectors.

As the Site EHS Manager, you will ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, strengthen the site’s safety culture, and drive continuous improvement across all programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee audits, and manage major safety, environmental, and infrastructure initiatives from planning to execution.

This position plays a critical role in championing risk reduction in a high‑precision manufacturing setting.

As the Site EHS Manager, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of site-specific EHS strategies, policies, and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, national, and corporate EHS regulations and standards.
  • Conduct and oversee EHS audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
  • Manage emergency preparedness and response programs, including drills and business continuity coordination.
  • Oversee environmental compliance, including hazardous waste management, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering, manufacturing, and facilities teams on EHS requirements and best practices.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on equipment safety evaluations, change management, and capital projects.
  • Build and maintain a strong culture of safety through training, communication, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure EHS integration into machine commissioning, chemical handling processes, cleanroom/controlled environment protocols, and manufacturing line expansions.
  • Represent the site during regulatory inspections (e.g., DOLE, DENR-EMB, BFP) and corporate audits.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Site EHS team, ensuring clear capability roadmaps, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Work with Site EHS team to develop and support the team’s skill needs and create opportunities for improvement.

To be considered for the role, here’s what you need to bring with you:

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
    • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in the field of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) in a manufacturing environment, supporting similar Health and Safety functions for multiple sites, with international location support highly preferred.
    • At least 7 years of leadership experience managing an EHS team or leading multi-site EHS programs.
    • Proven experience conducting EHS audits and driving corrective actions.
    • Strong background in EHS management systems, including incident management, root cause analysis, and KPI tracking.
    • Hands-on experience implementing and facilitating health and safety programs (i.e, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), industrial hygiene, machine guarding, chemical safety, ergonomics, fire protection, dangerous goods transportation)
    • Demonstrated ability to partner with technical teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications/Certifications:
    • DOLE-accredited Safety Officer certification (SO3/SO4) including BOSH, DENR Pollution Control Officer (PCO) accreditation, Fire/Safety Marshal Training and ISO 45001/ISO 14001 Lead Auditor qualifications.
