Physical Therapist - Per Diem - Inpatient Therapy
At NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, our Physical Therapists use advanced technology and best-practice techniques to restore and maximize patient mobility. We provide one-on-one therapies that are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. Our work continues to help patients reach their full potential. Join our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality rehabilitation for our patients throughout the continuum of care including acute care, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation.
This is a per diem position working regular Saturdays (minimum of 2 shift/month, but maximum of 18 hours a week that includes Saturdays . This position is located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria
Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) membership
Certification in Maitland and/or McKenzie treatment approach or relevant coursework
Required Criteria
At least 5 years of experience practicing in the outpatient orthopedic therapy setting
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
New York State Physical Therapist License within one year of hire
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association
