About the role
Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking a service-oriented Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative and experienced team at Women and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana on a PRN basis.
This is a unique opportunity to practice high-quality pediatric and OB anesthesia in a flexible, no-call setting — with the support of a stable, tenured team and leadership that understands the day-to-day demands of the OR.
Position Highlights:

$30,000 per week (1099) — based on 7 consecutive days of 12-hour shifts

No call requirements

Flexible scheduling — pick up weeks as desired

Case types include a wide range of both pediatric and obstetrics

This facility does not do any CV, neuro, or transplant cases

Provider will be joining a very experienced anesthesia team composed of 5 anesthesiologists and 8 nurse anesthetists

On a typical day, the provider arrives around 6 am and is relieved by the night anesthesiologists at 5:30 pm

EAM has additional opportunities nearby if providers wish to work during off time
Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Fellowship trained in Pediatrics
