Job Purpose

The Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the manufacturing operations to ensure timely delivery of high-quality tools. The role involves providing strong leadership in manufacturing and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and drive the implementation of efficiency, cost savings, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.

Job Responsibility

Establish the scheduling of work orders and team performance metrics, including monitoring output and adjusting schedules to ensure production targets are achieved.
Accountable for productivity, quality and training metrics of staff, and provide regular progress report and manufacturing metrics to management and cross-function stakeholders, including developing resolutions as needed to improve metrics achievement.
Lead and implement LEAN improvement projects.
Partner with Engineering on investigations and/or corrective actions, perform non-conformance investigation for review with engineering.
Ensure appropriate staffing and accountable to ensure staff is appropriately trained to perform assigned work.
Lead a Manufacturing team of supervisors to meet tool output requirement, with clear capability to plan ahead and anticipate challenges.
Facilitate and lead productivity, safety, quality and cost improvement programs.
Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel.
Cultivate strong discipline of execution mindset within the team.
Provide coaching and mentorship to supervisors.
Conduct performance reviews, including resolving performance issues.

Job Requirements

Minimum 10 years of manufacturing managerial experience in capital tool assembly and testing environment.
Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Strong leadership and team motivation abilities.
Self-driven, motivated, resourceful with good communication and problem-solving skills.
Effective team player with the ability to work across departments.
Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles
Ability to lead in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
