About the Role:

The defense and intel pillar is looking for a frontend software engineer who will be responsible for building systems and maintaining our analytic products. In this role, you will work with multiple internal teams to build our next generation global monitoring application that will drive our next decade of growth.

Your work will be highly visible and will directly impact the ability of customers to get faster access to Planet’s unprecedented datasets. The ideal candidate would have full-stack experience with experience leading frontend application development.

This is a full-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our Haarlem or Ljubljana office 3 days per week.

Impact You’ll Own:

Participate in the entire engineering lifecycle, from concept to implementation
Ownership of the quality and availability of mission systems
Contribute to the improvement of our architecture, infrastructure, and processes

What You Bring:

6+ years of relevant industry experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
Fluency in React and experience building frontend applications
Experience leading a frontend development effort
Experience with Golang, Python, Postgresql or related technologies
Experience with maintaining infrastructure-in-code
Experience with logging, alerting, and monitoring tools to support system quality
