This position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager__
Your role and responsibilities
- Design and verification of product improvement on quality and cost, creating design documents. Performing complex testing to validate design change.
- Creating and maintaining material master and BOM (bill of material) and configuration in SAP and PLM.
- Creating schematics and configuration.
- Define testing specifications and design testers.
- Releasing and Interaction with other functions to implement ECNs (Engineering Change Notification).
- Define Electronics and electrical components qualification test specification, perform the test and documentation.
- Maintaining technical documentation, including drive testing specifications, electrical schematics, cable list, manuals etc
You will be mainly accountable for
- Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
- Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
- Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
- University degree with major in electrical or electronics engineering or similar fields, master degree is preferred.
- More than 3 years working experience.
- Experience in electrical design and components qualification testing of AC drives, medium voltage drives experience is preferred.
- Familiar with Eplan and CAD to prepare electrical schematic drawing, experience of MV drive design and maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of drive system and application preferred.
- Good project planning skills, strong initiative to complete projects, works well both independently and in team environment.
- Good written and spoken communication skills, fluent in English.
