SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst

Job Description:

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the collection, understanding, documentation, and analysis of SAP FI/CO processes that impact the delivery of finance-related IT services

• Support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FI/CO solutions aligned to business requirements

• Coordinate and execute system testing activities, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure readiness for deployment

• Provide production support by troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and partnering with business users to maintain system performance

• Identify gaps or opportunities for improvement within existing SAP FI/CO solutions and recommend enhancements

• Support project execution by managing assigned tasks and deliverables to meet key milestones and go-live objectives

• Participate in end-user training and support adoption of new processes and system functionality

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field required; master’s preferred

• 2-5 years’ relevant experience supporting finance/accounting processes and/or SAP FI/CO environments

• Experience as an SAP end user within a finance or accounting function, with exposure to testing or system-related activities preferred

• Experience supporting system implementations, testing cycles, or go-live activities preferred

  Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into system-related solutions

  Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to partner across business and technical teams

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software 

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
