The Position

The ServiceNow IRM Technical Analyst is a dedicated IT Technologist responsible for overseeing and driving the delivery of a specific Integrated Risk Management (IRM) product, such as GRC, TPRM, Privacy, or BCM. Operating within an Agile framework, you will act as the technical owner for your assigned product area, balancing hands-on ServiceNow system configuration with product management. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions while leveraging AI tools like Claude as a productivity multiplier to accelerate delivery. This role is designed for a technologist who can manage a product backlog and roadmap without losing the ability to execute deep technical implementation.
Description of the area
Job Responsibilities
Product Management & Delivery: Leads the end-to-end management of an assigned IRM product area. Responsible for executing the product roadmap, managing the backlog within an Agile framework, and ensuring technical alignment with business objectives.
Hands-on Technical Execution: Maintains a high level of technical proficiency by performing hands-on ServiceNow system configurations and GRC module setups. Balances the business side of the product with direct technical implementation tasks as required.
AI-Augmented Productivity: Effectively integrates AI tools (e.g., Claude) into the development lifecycle. Uses these tools as a productivity multiplier to accelerate technical tasks and documentation, while maintaining ownership of final system stability and quality.
Stakeholder Engagement: Acts as the primary technical point of contact for the product area. Engages with stakeholders to refine requirements, manage expectations, and provide expert consultation on ServiceNow GRC capabilities.
Technical Standards & Quality: Ensures all configurations meet architectural standards. Leverages strong knowledge of general GRC principles and ServiceNow best practices to deliver robust, scalable risk management solutions.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
Demonstrated experience acting as an active and independent contributor within project or product teams.
Experience analyzing business requirements independently and translating them into technical system specifications.
Proven track record of executing an independent development plan and participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Technical Skills
Strong capability to design automated systems and accurately determine hardware and software compatibility.
Experience configuring system settings and options to meet specific user needs.
Ability to plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
Proficiency in creating detailed system specifications and comprehensive technical documentation.
Additional Qualifications
Strong problem-solving mindset, capable of thinking of alternative ways to solve problems and resolving complex business systems issues.
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to identify stakeholders, communicate in a straightforward manner, and adjust in response to shifting priorities.
