About the role
Responsibilities:
- Receives inbound material and receives into the accounting system using a 3-way match.
- Prepares and pack orders for shipment.
- Assembles orders, checks against customer order and reports incomplete orders.
- Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
- Checks receipts against purchase order for proper shipment, shortages, damages or defects.
- Applies policies and procedures that affect product quality and the segregation of non-conforming parts from good parts.
- Receives product and verifies counts and certifications to customer requirements.
- Checks materials requiring certification to a specification or requirement.
- Verifies material counts to packing slips.
- Enters packing slip details into database.
- Delivers received materials to respective areas for proper storage.
- Assures that inspection stamps are present on all products released for use and on certifications and packing slips, as required.
- Supports internal and government-led property / material audits and reviews.
- Monitors and maintains company internal inventory tracking system.
- Assists with tagging and tracking all Government Furnished Equipment / Property, Azure Test Equipment, and the calibration and maintenance schedules of tools on-site.
- Responsible for the storage, distribution, inventory management, and records maintenance of material/equipment items.
- Validates non-delivery issues through inspection.
- Keeps shipping and receiving area neat, clean, and orderly.
- Prepares product for shipping to vendor base and final customers.
- Releases material to production in accordance with manufacturing requirements.
- Coordinate freight carrier deliveries.
- Operate company forklift
- Prepare and pack material in crates using various packing tools
- Operates pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner
- Ships material in accordance with customer requirements.
- Coordinates import/export requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of the work
- Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance, due to the nature of the work and contract requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and occasionally maneuver material weighing up to 50 pounds
- Valid Driver’s License required
Desired:
- Experience with forklift/reach truck experience
- Experience with Costpoint.
- Can drive a manual 26ft box truck.
