What this opportunity involves:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and skilled Facilities Coordinator to join our team. As the Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our global tech client’s corporate office location. Your expertise in building procedures, energy management, and vendor coordination will be vital in maintaining the facility at its best.
Overview of the role:
- Ensure the facility remains in top shape by conducting regular site inspections and assessments
- Implement building procedures and performance measures to optimize energy use and reduce costs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of facilities management, ensuring efficient work order handling and ticket requests
- Cultivate strong vendor relationships, obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service contracts, and warranties
- Collaborate with the senior account team to develop strategies for improving team skills and achieving overall growth and success
- Serve as a liaison between property owners, tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Provide regular reports to management on facility performance, maintenance activities, and adherence to budget

- Strong technical understanding and familiarity with EHS regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with performance-based service contracts and vendor management is desirable
- Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions in ambiguous situations
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in using required software and technology
