Position Summary

Please note this is a fixed-term contract for 2 years.

The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of product portfolios within Molecular Diagnostics, with an emphasis on New Product Introductions (NPIs). This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovation to market, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Introduction (NPI) & Commercialization

  • Serve as an active member of cross-functional NPI teams supporting the development and launch of molecular diagnostic products and workflows.
  • Support execution of the Product Commercialization Process (PCP) and associated stage-gate deliverables throughout the development lifecycle.

Market Insights & Product Strategy

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, customer feedback, competitive activity, and emerging trends within the molecular diagnostics and IVD markets.
  • Develop sales trainings and marketing collaterals and support execution of short- and long-term product strategies aligned with commercial and business objectives.

Analytical & Business Acumen

  • Assist in development of financial analyses and basic business models for NPIs, including forecasting, market sizing, and revenue projections.
  • Support pricing analyses and implementation of basic pricing strategies aligned with market conditions.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between commercial teams, customers, and internal stakeholders including R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Operations, Marketing and Supply Chain.
  • Translate customer and technical requirements into actionable business and development priorities.
  • Support resolution of technical, operational, and commercial issues impacting customers and product performance.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Apply product lifecycle management principles across the portfolio, including launch, growth, sustainment, and discontinuation phases.
  • Actively apply Practical Process Improvement (PPI) tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Customer & Commercial Support

  • Support customer visits, scientific discussions, and conference activities.
  • Train and coach commercial teams on product positioning, value differentiation, and customer objection handling.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology or related scientific discipline.
  • MBA, Master’s degree, or advanced scientific degree preferred.

Experience

  • 3 years of experience in product management, product marketing, scientific support, applications, commercialization, or related functions within molecular diagnostics, life sciences, healthcare, or IVD industries.
  • Experience supporting or participating in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes preferred.
  • Experience with molecular diagnostic technologies such as PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, or next-generation sequencing (NGS) preferred.
  • Exposure to cross-functional project teams preferred.

Compensation

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2,625.00–€3,937.50.
