As the Commercial Operations Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting sales teams and driving the operations engine of the ANZ Sales Organisation. You will be focused on delivering quarterly sales activities across routes to market, understanding market dynamics, providing insights and support in order to make effective strategic business decisions. In coordination with the RTM Sales teams, Central Sales functions and other cross-functional teams including Sales Finance and Reseller Operations, you will run processes, programs and analytics that drive and have a measurable impact on Apple Sales, our partners and customers.
Description
Support channel activities, including program investment, planning and partner comms Complete retrospective analysis, during and post key promotional moments and new product launches Identify opportunities and playbook(s) of actions to be driven across the team, highlighting implications and actions for improvement. Prepare reviews/materials to assess and analyse performance of business - identifying variances, defining causes, specifying potential actions and their impact. Manage essential workflows including account creation, sales exception approvals, left-to-sell-in execution, and partner data integrity to ensure operational continuity. Set quotas for the sales team in partnership with Sales Finance and measure performance against the targets. Drive execution across teams to achieve the forecast/goal. Monitor/analyse daily/weekly/quarterly performance. Drive enhanced reporting to optimise performance and provide improved insights. Help identify opportunities, sharing insights and playbooks across accounts to improve performance. Responsible for driving special projects cross-functionally that impact our business in the short and long term. Collaborate with internal business stakeholders, cross-functional teams locally, regionally, and globally, and partners. Support ad-hoc requests from WW & ANZ Business. Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to identify use cases for AI/ML that can provide valuable insights, drive business automation, and business growth.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in sales operations, business planning, finance, strategy, and/or analytics. 3-5+ years of experience in sales operations, business planning, consulting, finance, strategy, and/or analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
Possess a high level of numeracy and data management capabilities and excellent analytical and presentation/communication skills. Advanced Excel and presentation-building (e.g. Keynote) skills. Able to balance competing priorities, long-term projects, and ad hoc requirements. Experience in delivering successful outcomes through internal and external collaboration. Demonstrated ability to positively influence and collaborate with people across all functional areas of an organisation. Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness, while maintaining extreme attention to detail. An eagerness and ability to learn new skills and solve dynamic problems in a fast-paced, encouraging, and expansive environment. Strong cross-functional communication skills and experience managing deliverables across different teams.
