LOCATION: Austin, TX 78728
SHIFT 1: 6:00am - 2:30pm; Tuesday - Saturday
FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible
**Sign On Bonus Available**
In this role, you will:
Open and verify check shipper sample types and ensure empty
Complete Specimen receipt logs
Specimen Receipt and forward problem samples/orders to exception handling
Identify Issues (Ordering, Labeling, Specimen)
Aliquoting of samples
Discard, Archive (All of storage components)
End of shift checklist: benches, staging and archiving units, shippers, biohazard bins
All you need is:
Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification with High School Diploma
Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
Typing proficiency, including 10-key
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bonus points if you’ve got:
Bachelor’s Degree in a biological science or certification in a medical program technologist program
2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
Data entry experience in a laboratory production environment
