LOCATION(S): Edinburgh
HOURS: Full time – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our Edinburgh Sighthill offices. Please note - due to nature of the project there may be periods where increased office attendance will be required. What you’ll be doing:
We have a fantastic 12 month fixed term contract / secondment opportunity to join CIB Rectification & Remediation (R&R) which is part of the wider Strategic Enablement team, based in Edinburgh. R&R is a multi-skilled agile team and our primary goal is putting things right when things have gone wrong for our clients.
We’re looking for motivated and diligent analysts who will support the delivery of remediating security records.
This is a great opportunity to build experience in delivering change in an active project delivery environment, contribute to shape meaningful work, and further develop your security experience.
You’ll work closely with project leads, assistant managers, and cross-functional teams to help progress remediation cases, support reporting, and ensure high-quality outcomes!
Within this role you’ll:
Investigate securities records held internally to ensure accuracy.
Proactively identifying risks and recommend balanced and sustainable fixes relating to security held.
Support the day-to-day delivery of the remediation programme, ensuring timely and accurate case progression.
Collaborate with Project and Operational teams to resolve issues, queries and ensure accurate case handling.
Assist with accurate data gathering to support stakeholder updates and programme governance.
Have a collaborative outlook and a willingness to support others, including contributing to coaching and quality assurance activities.

What we’re looking for:
2 years’ experience in financial services.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret data and identify inconsistencies.
Excellent communication skills, with confidence in working with colleagues across different teams.
Ability to manage your time effectively and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, word and other to support analysis and reporting.
Willing to drive personal development and adapt quickly to new challenges while undertake additional responsibilities that benefit the wider team.
And any experience of these would be great:
Working knowledge of Lending security.
Experience of working with external platforms e.g. Companies House, Land registry
Experience working on remediation and rectification programmes.
