About the Role: We’re seeking an Assistive Technology Intern to support projects that explore how technology can better serve people with disabilities. This flexible, hands-on role offers exposure to assistive tech across design, research, and implementation. Interns select at least one project area based on their interests and skills.

Project Areas (choose one or more):

  • Assistive Technology Database: Help organize and build an internal catalog of assistive devices using Microsoft Office/SharePoint tools.

  • Assistive App Design: Brainstorm and design accessible app concepts that address unmet needs for adults with disabilities.

  • 3D Print Design: Design or modify 3D-printable tools and assist with tracking and managing print requests.

  • Assistive Tech Research: Research and share new or emerging technologies that could be used as assistive tools.

  • No prior assistive technology experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
