What You'll Be Doing
Assist with inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment specific to sand and gravel plant operations.
Support troubleshooting of conveyors, crushers, screens, and other mechanical systems under guidance from experienced technicians.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient production flow.
Help identify equipment issues and communicate findings to the maintenance team.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
What Are We Looking For
Strong interest in developing mechanical skills and learning equipment used in sand and gravel plant operations.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.
Capability to perform physical tasks and work in varying environmental conditions.
Willingness to work collaboratively and take initiative in a training-focused role.
Reliable individual with problem-solving aptitude and effective communication skills.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work on elevated surfaces as needed to perform maintenance duties.
Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment as required, including handling tools and components in various plant areas.
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including extended periods of equipment inspection and movement across uneven or dusty terrain.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
