The Experience

The Strategic Enterprise Account Executive role is part of our Enterprise Sales teams specialized in verticals like Retail & Consumer Goods, Media & Communication, Financial Services or Healthcare & Life Sciences. This team is comprised of elite, forward-thinking sales leaders, industry experts, and strategic visionaries who partner with our most valuable, top-tier clients. Operating in a highly focused model, you will be in charge of a dedicated, select handful of enterprise accounts (or a singular, massive global account) to shape their overarching digital transformation and drive their evolution into an Agentic Enterprise—where autonomous AI agents and humans work together to drive unparalleled success.
 

We are looking for Strategic Account Executives to lead and orchestrate our highest-value enterprise relationships. In this role, you don't just sell software; you act as a trusted advisor to C-level decision-makers, defining multi-year strategic roadmaps and translating complex business challenges into high-value AI and cloud solutions. You will lead a massive virtual matrix team to deliver a unified vision, balancing short-term commercial execution with long-term partnership value.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

Success will be measured by your ability to drive annual recurring revenue (ARR), expand our strategic footprint within your assigned accounts, maintain high customer satisfaction, and successfully orchestrate internal matrixed teams to execute a unified account strategy.

  • Drive the Account Vision: Partner closely with co-account executives and stakeholders to define, own, and execute a comprehensive, multi-year strategic roadmap for complex, top-tier accounts.

  • Engage the C-Suite: Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives. Evangelize AI-powered solutions, platform ecosystems, and digital transformation through strategic, value-based selling and compelling Points of View (POVs).

  • Orchestrate the Matrix: Function as the "Strategic Quarterback" leading a large virtual team. Align Specialist AEs, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Global System Integrators (GSIs) to ensure a seamless, unified customer experience.

  • Deliver Measurable Value: Translate deep industry trends into tangible business cases, ROI analyses, and strategic workshops that empower customers to achieve their global business objectives.

  • Maintain Operational Excellence: Navigate high-pressure environments, manage complex annual quota planning, deliver accurate forecasting, and consistently achieve revenue goals.

  • Retail & Consumer Goods: Deep understanding of the massive shifts in retail, apparel, lifestyle, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). Experience navigating complex global supply chains, direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital transformations, and omni-channel customer experiences.

  • Healthcare & Life Sciences: Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices. Experience navigating complex regulatory environments, patient-centric digital care, and clinical/commercial transformation roadmaps.

  • Financial Services: Deep understanding of banking, capital markets, wealth management, or insurance. Experience dealing with strict compliance frameworks, fintech disruptions, data privacy, and core legacy-to-cloud modernization strategies.

  • Media & Communication: Deep understanding of telecommunications, entertainment, streaming, or digital media networks. Experience with subscriber lifecycle management, content distribution platforms, advertising tech, and next-generation connectivity models.

Core Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in complex, multi-national enterprise SaaS sales, top-tier management consulting, or driving large-scale internal digital transformations within the specified vertical.

  • Executive Presence: Proven ability to convey leadership, direction, and confidence in every interaction, effortlessly adapting your communication style for top-down C-level discussions.

  • Matrix Leadership: Demonstrated success navigating and leading large, cross-functional virtual teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment without formal disciplinary authority.

  • Resilience & Execution: A consistent track record of navigating high-pressure commercial environments, managing complex enterprise deal cycles, and meeting or exceeding high-value revenue quotas.

  • Language Skills: Professional fluency in English and German (both written and spoken) to support our regional and global client bases.

  • You bring a unique hybrid background (e.g., a mix of top-tier strategy consulting and direct Enterprise SaaS sales execution).

  • You possess deep technical or strategic familiarity with next-generation autonomous AI agents, Customer 360 ecosystems, or advanced CRM platforms.

  • You have established, active relationships with C-level stakeholders within the target vertical across Germany and the broader EMEA region.
