Role overview
The R2R Innovation Manager (m/f/d) is an important member of the Finance Innovation Center of Excellence (COE) EMEA. You will design and deploy solutions across Record to Report (R2R) processes within the Finance EMEA organization.
You will play a critical part in driving standardization, simplification, automation, and productivity improvements across end-to-end R2R processes. You will work in close collaboration with the Finance Innovation & Productivity COE and Shared Service Centers. It also collaborates with Country Finance teams, IT, and Global Finance Transformation. This collaboration supports large-scale transformation programs and future-state organizational design.
You will report to the Global Manager Finance Innovation & Satelite Tools based in EMEA.
The position can be located in Poland (Gliwice, Wrocław), Spain (Barcelona) and Czech Republic (Brno). Local presence (3 days office work) and English + local languages are important to fulfil the core responsibilities.
What You'll Do:
Strategy, Transformation & Innovation
Accomplish the R2R stream mission, vision, and goals according to Finance strategy
Define and support the R2R future-state operating model
Contribute to Global Finance Transformation projects
Lead and sponsor innovation ideas and transformation projects across R2R
Stay ahead of new technologies by attending conferences, innovation forums, and learning events
Process, Governance & Standardization
Conduct and maintain a comprehensive inventory of R2R activities
Develop end-to-end R2R process documentation
Guide standardization of processes, and methodologies across ERPs, SBUs, and regions
Define and govern Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between SSCs and country organizations
Improve General Ledger and Management Reporting sub-stream processes
Performance & Productivity
Define, monitor, and follow up on R2R Indicators
Achieve defined R2R productivity targets
Prioritize ideas and projects based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment
Collaboration & Leadership
Be a primary liaison with IT for R2R process automation and system enhancements
Lead, and maintain a R2R sub-stream leaders network
Foster collaboration across team members
Provide leadership through influence, and delegation
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in finance process optimization and reporting improvement
End-to-end knowledge of finance processes
4+ years of project leadership experience
Experience collaborating with global team members
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Central Finance
Experience with project and change management
Passionate about innovation, automation, and improvement
Committed to delivering high-quality service and measurable growth
Advanced proficiency in English
