Purpose of the role

To deliver HR services and support to Barclays colleagues, candidates, alumni and third-party vendors. 

Accountabilities

  • Delivery and execution of HR operational activities aligned with people leader and colleague journeys aligned with bank policies and regulations, including performance management, rewards, benefits and learning operations documentation, coordination, and administration.
  • On- and offboarding of new employees, (including orientation, documentation, coordination, exit interviews), knowledge transfer performance, rewards, learning operations and related administration.
  • Maintenance of colleague personal and reference data in relevant HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations, reporting and analytics.
  • Provision of guidance and support on candidate, colleague and alumni queries relating to HR policies, procedures, processes, or guidance.

Join Barclays as a HR Colleague Experience Partner, where you will play a key role in supporting end‑to‑end onboarding and employee movement processes. This requires strong operational expertise, a compliance mindset, and a continuous improvement approach using latest technology to deliver a high‑quality colleague experience across regions.

Success in this role requires the ability to effectively manage complex onboarding and hiring activities while maintaining compliance and operational excellence, including:

  • Relevant years of hands-on experience across the full hiring lifecycle, including contracts, screening, and onboarding.

  • Strong understanding of Legal Right to Work requirements.

  • Commitment to driving continuous operational improvements and process efficiencies with support of latest technology.

  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, email, and virtual collaboration tools.

  • Hand’s on experience in using latest technologies like Co-pilot and other AI tools. The incumbent should be able to demonstrate with examples on how they have used these tools in creating efficiency/colleague experience.

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Hands‑on experience with Workday.

  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
