Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Aircraft Hydraulic Component Repair Technician to join our team in support of the Hydro Mechanical shop with repairs and overhauls of the F-15 hydro/mechanical and weapon system components at our Component Repair Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

This is a unique and challenging position working with a small diverse team responsible for repair and overhaul of various Hydraulic/Mechanical and Weapon system components.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support is across multiple commercial and DoD programs
  • Assemble, disassemble and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading components to correct failures or implement changes
  • Configures bench test equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
  • Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
  • Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements
  • Work under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and overhauling landing gear
  • Experience with repair of aircraft mechanical assemblies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with repairing and troubleshooting aircraft structural/composite, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, environmental, and avionics systems

Summary Starting Pay Rate: $68,000 - $80,000
