Job Description:

Summary:

The Security Associate supports day-to-day and event-day security operations at Citi Field. This entry-level role focuses on VIP escorts, credentialing, and assisting with the management of venue security staff. The position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in stadium operations or security in a high-profile, fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

VIP & Guest Support

• Assist with escorts for VIPs, executives, players, and special guests
• Provide a professional and welcoming presence during all interactions
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality

Credentialing & Access Control

• Support credential distribution and verification for staff, vendors, and guests
• Monitor access points and ensure proper entry into restricted areas
• Enforce credential policies in a consistent and professional manner

Event Operations

• Assist with security operations during games, concerts, and special events
• Support crowd management and help resolve routine issues
• Report incidents and escalate concerns to supervisors

Guard Force Support

• Work alongside venue security staff to ensure posts are covered
• Assist supervisors in monitoring guard performance and attendance
• Help reinforce expectations and procedures on the ground

Administrative Support

• Assist with basic scheduling coordination and documentation
• Maintain logs of escorts, incidents, and daily activity
• Support preparation for events and special assignments

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Work Environment

• This role operates in a high-traffic, public-facing stadium environment. Security Associates will interact with fans, staff, vendors, and VIP guests and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
