About the role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be dedicated to delivering world-class support to our customers, working onsite to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and performance. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a direct impact on our customers’ operations.
Your Responsibilities
Provide services and customer support during assigned onsite roster
Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, repair, maintenance, and testing of complex equipment
Identify and resolve advanced technical problems during start-up and operations
Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or equipment upgrades to meet customer needs
Deliver troubleshooting support and train customers on equipment features and functionality
Conduct regular site evaluations to determine maintenance requirements and performance improvements
Ensure operational uptime by addressing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting issues
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in all onsite activities
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to secure future business opportunities
What You Bring
Vocational/Technical education or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field)
3–5 years’ experience in the mining or heavy industrial service industry (preferred)
Strong hands-on skills in equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work onsite following customer roster, including in remote areas
Broad knowledge of operational procedures, maintenance tools, and troubleshooting methods
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and limited supervision
Excellent communication skills and ability to assist with training customer's personnel.
A collaborative team player who can also work independently
Willingness to be rostered on a customer site and / or travel extensively across mine sites in Southeast Asia
Ability to develop strong customer relationships.
Focus on identifying and communicating Opportunities for business growth , parts sales and other FLS offerings.
