Your New Role

The Junior Development Producer Original Productions will play a key role in analysing and strategizing projects for WBD L.O.Ps. You will develop, evaluate, and move projects through the pipeline, whilst nurturing a close working relationship with script writers and the wider L.O.P team.

Your Role Accountabilities

·                Reviewing and evaluating development materials & scripts according to strategy    

·                Giving feedback and notes on Original Productions in development 

·                Preparing pitch documents by giving detailed information on current projects and collecting necessary information from producers 

·                Market observation and evaluation of target groups, originate new ideas and trends 

·                Organizing weekly submission meetings within the team, preselecting suitable pitches according to strategy, giving advice on pitch ideas and handling content feedback with production companies 

·                Assisting in any other aspects as required 

·                Supporting VP and Director in managing company’s original productions 

·                Communicating and sharing information with internal and external contact persons in all phases of production 

·                Suggest, watch and evaluate castings 

·                Giving joint feedback during postproduction on cuts and music  

·                Attending production events, set visits and press events 

 

 Skills and Experience

·                Min 2 years of experience in script-editing, development and/or production of TV drama  

·                Passionate, openminded, organized & efficient  

·                Extensive knowledge of the TV/Streaming industry  

·                Experienced in fulfilling production and content tasks 

·                Excellent in English and German, written and spoken

Als Junior Development Producer Original Productions spielen Sie eine zentrale Rolle bei der Analyse, Entwicklung und strategischen Ausrichtung von Projekten für die Local Original Productions (LOPs) von WBD. Sie begleiten Projekte durch den gesamten Entwicklungsprozess, bewerten deren Potenzial und treiben sie innerhalb der Projektpipeline voran. Dabei arbeiten Sie eng mit Autor sowie dem gesamten L.O.P.-Team zusammen.

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Prüfung und Bewertung von Entwicklungsunterlagen und Drehbüchern im Einklang mit der inhaltlichen Strategie.
• Erstellung von Feedback und redaktionellen Anmerkungen zu Originalproduktionen in der Entwicklungsphase.
• Vorbereitung von Pitch-Dokumenten durch die Zusammenstellung detaillierter Informationen zu laufenden Projekten sowie die Einholung relevanter Informationen von Produzent.
• Beobachtung des Marktes und Analyse von Zielgruppen; Identifikation neuer Ideen, Trends und kreativer Potenziale.
• Organisation der wöchentlichen Einreichungs- und Pitch-Meetings innerhalb des Teams.
• Vorauswahl geeigneter Projektvorschläge entsprechend der strategischen Ausrichtung.
• Beratung zu Pitch-Ideen sowie Abstimmung und Kommunikation von inhaltlichem Feedback mit Produktionsfirmen.
• Unterstützung bei weiteren Aufgaben im Entwicklungs- und Produktionsbereich nach Bedarf.
• Unterstützung des VP und des Directors bei der Betreuung und Steuerung der Originalproduktionen des Unternehmens.
• Kommunikation und Informationsaustausch mit internen und externen Ansprechpartner in allen Phasen der Produktion.
• Sichtung, Bewertung und Empfehlung von Castings.
• Gemeinsame Abstimmung und Feedback zu Schnittfassungen und Musikauswahl während der Postproduktion.
• Teilnahme an Produktionsveranstaltungen, Set-Besuchen und Presseevents.

Qualifikationen und Erfahrung

• Mindestens 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Script Editing, Stoffentwicklung und/oder Produktion von TV-Dramen.
• Leidenschaft für hochwertige Inhalte sowie eine offene, strukturierte und effiziente Arbeitsweise.
• Umfassende Kenntnisse der TV- und Streaming-Branche.
• Erfahrung in der Umsetzung von Produktions- und Content-bezogenen Aufgaben.
• Hervorragende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
