In this role you will utilize your skills as a battery hardware qualification engineer to qualify the battery system hardware technology for next generation consumer electronics. You, as a member of the battery development core team, will work closely with cross functional teams on new product introduction. You will need to develop the qualification plan and manage the suppliers and test engineer team for execution, data analysis as well as resolving technical challenges.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or relevant field of study and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience Experience in analog and/or power electronics design Experience in electronic circuit design/development with mixed signal systems or relevant

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of proven experience with a Master's in Electrical Engineering or relevant field of study Background in any of the following: Power Electronics, Battery Management (fuel gauge and charger), Portable Consumer Electronics, Medical Electronics, Automotive Electronics) Schematic capture and PCB layout design for mixed signal boards (Cadence, Altium, etc.) Knowledge of communications protocols like SMBus, I2C, SPMI, etc. desired Knowledge of scripting for test automation and data analysis desired Knowledge of battery charging, and management is a plus Knowledge in statistical analysis is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting data to cross-functional teams and/or management Detail oriented and strive for product excellence
