How you will make contributions that matter
Cheeseworld in Allansford is looking for a hands‑on Café & Retail Supervisor to help lead our front‑of‑house team and deliver a great experience for our customers. This is a practical, on‑the‑floor role suited to someone who enjoys hospitality, retail, and working with people.
As Café & Retail Supervisor, you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of the café and retail space, lead staff during shifts, and help create a welcoming experience for locals and visitors.
- Supervising staff and supporting the team during busy periods
- Delivering friendly, high‑quality customer service
- Acting as second‑in‑charge and helping resolve customer or team issues
- Managing orders, tastings, hampers, and wholesale support
- Assisting with stock ordering, stocktakes, and supplier coordination
- Supporting events, promotions, and daily operations
- Ensuring food safety, RSA, and OH&S standards are followed
This is a hands‑on role, working closely with the team on the floor.
About you
- Previous experience supervising staff in hospitality or retail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confidence handling stock, cash, and day‑to‑day operations
- A practical, reliable, and team‑focused approach
- Knowledge of food safety and workplace health & safety
- A current RSA certificate (required)
- Food Safety certification (preferred)
