A Salesforce Data Architect designs and optimizes complex data models, migration strategies, and integration architectures within the Salesforce Customer 360 platform. They ensure data scalability, integrity, and security, bridging business requirements with technical solutions to maximize data utilization for analytics and CRM performance. 

Key Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Design: Define data architecture frameworks, including relational data modeling, MDM (Master Data Management), metadata management, and data governance.

• Data Integration & Migration: Architect complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., Snowflake, SQL, MuleSoft) and plan end-to-end data migration strategies.

• Performance Optimization: Address large data volume (LDV) issues, data skew, and optimize SOQL/reporting performance to ensure high-performance systems.

• Strategy & Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor to clients to align data strategy with business goals, mapping data processes for Marketing, Sales, and Service.

• Security & Compliance: Implement data security, masking, and governance policies to meet regulatory standards. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Certifications: Salesforce Certified Data Architect (highly preferred).

• Technical Expertise: Strong SQL, ETL tools, data modeling, and knowledge of Salesforce platform limitations and capabilities.

• Experience: 5+ years in data modeling, database design, and data architecture, with at least 2-3 years directly in Salesforce.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to transform complex business requirements into scalable technical specifications.

• Data Warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)

• ETL/Integration Tools (Informatica)
