Job Description
Carnegie Mellon University’s Dietrich College is searching for four SPUR Summer Program Undergradaute Researchers to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing support by immersing themselves in psychological research and gaining hands on experience in a vibrant academic environment. This is an eight-week program designed to enhance opportunities for all students to explore academic and research careers in psychological science.
Core responsibilities include:
Engaging directly with impactful research
Contribute to various facets of the research process from data collection to lab meetings
Work closely with a faculty or other research team members to conduct research
Attending workshops that cover a variety of topics
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program
Preference is given to students from institutions with limited STEM research opportunities
A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
Additional Information:
Sponsorship: Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work for CMU in the United States. CMU will not sponsor or take over the sponsorship of an employment visa for this opportunity. Carnegie Mellon is not a qualifying employer for the STEM OPT benefit: only the 12-month OPT may be used to work at Carnegie Mellon.
