Details of the Division and Team
The Institutional Client Group (ICG) is a global sales platform within Deutsche Bank’s Investment Bank covering a broad range of institutional clients, including hedge funds, insurance companies, asset managers, banks, central banks, sovereign wealth funds and private banks.
We are looking for an Analyst or Associate to join the ICG Insurance coverage team in Singapore. The team is responsible for the distribution of financing and credit products to global insurance companies, with a particular focus on credit insurance. The role is a client facing role but also involves close collaboration with product teams across the origination, structuring, distribution and execution of transactions.
The team is based in Singapore and is part of a broader global credit insurance platform working closely with colleagues in London. This provides cross-border collaboration and exposure to a global set of clients, products and transaction opportunities.

Your key responsibilities
Develop relationships with global insurance companies, with a focus on credit insurance distribution
Partner with regional financing and product teams to market and distribute structured financing opportunities to insurance clients
Help manage transactions through the full deal lifecycle, from marketing and client engagement to execution and post-trade follow-up
Coordinate with Legal, Trading, Operations and other internal stakeholders to support timely and well-controlled transaction execution
Prepare client materials, support documentation review and contribute to the day-to-day management of the business pipeline
Your skills and experience
For Analyst: Minimum 1 year relevant experience in credit, financing, or institutional sales
For Associate: 2 to 5 year relevant experience in credit, financing, or institutional sales
Experience working with institutional clients, including banks, insurers, asset managers or other financial institutions
Strong interest in structured financing products and credit insurance
A genuine interest to learn about credit fundamentals
An interest in financial markets and in particular in credit markets and macro economics
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and transactions with strong attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and self-motivated approach
A strong team focus
