What you’ll be doing…

As part of the Vendor Management Center team, you will drive the operational excellence of our vendor partners to ensure seamless network deployment, upgrades, and maintenance. You will collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and field operations teams to track metrics, audit deliverables, and ensure compliance with Verizon specifications.

  • Vendor & Backlog Management: Distribute workloads, track on-time completion, and develop remediation plans with vendors to eliminate project backlogs.

  • Data Analysis & Scorecards: Build and maintain Vendor Scorecards at market, regional, and national levels to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Auditing & Compliance: Issue regular audit requests on completed work to ensure strict compliance with Verizon specifications and local codes.

  • Invoice Verification: Review and verify vendor invoice accuracy against assigned jobs and unit pricing, resolving discrepancies with stakeholders.

  • Project & Team Support: Coordinate project schedules, track risk mitigation plans in Verizon tools, and provide guidance to less experienced teammates.

What we’re looking for…

You are a highly organized self-starter, analytical, and comfortable with complex problem-solving. You possess the strong communication skills required to represent Verizon professionally to external partners.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong proficiency in Google Suite for spreadsheets and data reporting.

  • Advanced Smartsheet experience with dashboard creation

  • Flexibility to work in the shift supporting US day hours (Rotation between 6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST and 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM IST)

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Knowledge of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and networking.

  • Ability to review data and trends and make suggestions or escalate to improve vendor and customer experience.

  • Strong project management skills (scheduling, tracking, and reporting).

  • Experience navigating specialized Verizon reporting tools.

  • Knowledge of telecom equipment, processes, and systems.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
