The Opportunity

Our Princeton, NJ location is seeking a Global Product Manager for i-STAT – Sepsis and Respiratory. This individual will drive portfolio lifecycle strategy and execution for the core product portfolio for sepsis and respiratory pathways, inclusive of chemistry and blood gas assays.

This role owns end-to-end lifecycle management, including portfolio optimization, roadmap planning, and cross functional execution. In addition, the role will lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy for sepsis and respiratory pathways, including translating clinical and market insights into clear value propositions and commercial enablement.

What you'll work on

  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle strategy for the core portfolio, from sustainment through optimization and rationalization

  • Drive lifecycle decisions such as line extensions, product upgrades, and end‑of‑life planning

  • Plan, manage and execute product discontinuations, including development of messaging, customer communications, and transition strategies

  • Define and execute portfolio roadmaps aligned to customer needs, market trends, and long‑term growth objectives

  • Lead portfolio health assessments, including evaluating performance, customer adoption, and competitive positioning

  • Ensure clear alignment between portfolio strategy and commercial execution across regions

  • Build dashboard for product lifecycle management tracking to enable visibility across portfolio and all countries

  • Develop global marketing plan for sepsis and respiratory pathways

  • Build strong working relationship with regions and cross functional teams including Labeling & Packaging, Medical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Finance and Operations

Required Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree in business or life sciences discipline

  • 5+ years of technical / marketing experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (including presentation and listening skills with senior level staff).

  • Demonstrated track record of success in portfolio management, product launches and commercialization.

  • Possess strong project management skills, with proven ability to clearly define objectives, priorities, develop project plans, and manage to deadlines.

  • Initiative and self-motivation; strong work ethic; leadership and team orientation; strong proactive interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with others; ability to work in a matrixed environment, strong cross-functional management by influence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years in life sciences/medical device industry

  • Experience in this area: developing global marketing plans for sepsis and respiratory pathways or similar areas.

  • At least 1 year of experience in ensuring clear alignment between portfolio strategy and commercial execution across regions.

  • At least 1 year of experience in translating clinical and market insights into clear value propositions and commercial enablement.

The base pay for this position is

$99,300.00 – $198,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
