About the Role
As a Jr. Quality Engineer you will support and enhance the AVN Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with internal standards, global regulations, and industry best practices. You will act as a trusted advisor to the organization, providing guidance, mentorship, and expertise on quality-related processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Location: Heerlen, The Netherlands. This is an onsite positon that requires your present in the office a minimum of 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Manage nonconformities and lead change management activities
Support process owners and Quality Engineers in implementing QMS requirements
Provide expert QA guidance across the organization
Act as delegate for one or more QMS processes
Support and participate in internal and external audits
Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvements
Execute and support qualification activities and resolve process-related issues
Contribute to quality improvement and integration projects
Utilize analysis tools and quality techniques to support decision-making
Identify opportunities for process and system improvements and drive implementation
Support stop-ship and recall activities when required
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent, HBO level)
1–3 years of experience in a highly regulated environment (preferably within medical technology or logistics operations)
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
A proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
Fluency in English, written and spoken, Dutch is nice to have, but not mandatory.
