About the Role
The Product Manager – Payroll, Time & Attendance Tech will play a key role within the Enterprise Applications team in Haleon’s Digital & Tech organization, supporting HR, Legal & Compliance systems. This pivotal role will be a part of our Digital Technology team, reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager - Payroll, Time & Attendance Tech. This role partners closely with HR teams, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant payroll and time systems. It focuses on driving functional design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Workday and payroll vendor solutions. The position is critical in ensuring seamless integration, standardization, and optimization of end-to-end HR technology processes. Role Responsibilities
Define, implement, and optimize Payroll Tech systems (Workday and vendor SaaS solutions) and Time & Attendance systems
Collaborate with HR business teams, Tech Product teams, and third-party vendors to deliver effective solutions
Lead functional design, system configuration, and integration efforts across payroll and time systems
Manage and support end-to-end HR Tech operability, ensuring standardization and continuous improvement
Oversee change and release management activities, including SaaS updates and production deployments
Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and external regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX)
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, test cases, and documentation
Communicate system changes, impacts, and updates effectively to HR and Payroll stakeholders
Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement resolutions or workarounds
Support global deployments with localization considerations across regions
Work closely across time zones, particularly aligning with Americas stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
8+ years of experience working with enterprise HR/payroll solutions
Strong experience in payroll processes, integrations, and technical requirements
Hands-on experience with Workday (including PECI, Studio, Web Services, XSLT, etc.)
Experience with payroll vendor SaaS platforms such as ADP, SD Worx, or similar
Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience managing releases, changes, and SaaS updates in production environments
Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance processes across enterprise systems
Ability to navigate complex integrations (SAP, banking systems, file transfers, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in issue troubleshooting and resolution
Effective communication skills, especially in articulating system impacts to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on global implementations with localization requirements
Prior experience collaborating with third-party vendors and service providers
Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOX and enterprise risk management practices
Experience working in cross-functional, global, and matrixed environments
Exposure to secure file exchange and advanced system integration techniques
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business and technical teams
Experience driving continuous improvement and transformation initiatives in HR Tech
Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones in a global organization
Familiarity with enterprise application ecosystems within large organizations
