About the Role

Paytm Ads is strengthening its position as a leading outcome-driven advertising platform, powered by high-intent first-party data, machine learning–led optimization, and robust measurement and attribution capabilities. As Director of Product, you will lead the evolution of our existing ads platform into a performance-first, data-powered ecosystem, unlocking stronger advertiser outcomes across ROAS, CAC, and conversions. This role sits at the intersection of ads, data, and commerce, and requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, product depth, and execution excellence.

What You’ll Drive

1. Outcome-Driven Ads Platform Define and scale Paytm’s performance advertising stack, focused on delivering measurable outcomes (ROAS, CAC, conversions)Build solutions across: Audience targeting & retargeting Campaign optimization Conversion tracking & attribution.

2. First-Party Data & Audience Systems Leverage Paytm’s rich transactional and behavioral data to build high-quality audience segments Design and scale privacy-safe data activation frameworks, including clean room (DCR) capabilities Enable advertisers to activate their own data in a secure, compliant manner.

3. ML-Led Decisioning & Optimization Lead the development of machine learning–driven systems for: Bidding & budget allocation Ad ranking & personalization Audience selection and lookalike modeling Drive continuous improvement in model performance and business outcomes.

4. Data Infrastructure & Platform Thinking Build and evolve data platforms and decisioning engines that power real-time ad delivery and optimization Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and capable of handling high-volume, low-latency decisioning.

5. 0 → 1 and Scale Journeys Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and scale Identify new monetization opportunities across: On-platform inventory Off-platform activation (DSP integrations, partnerships)Drive adoption and usage through strong collaboration with GTM teams.

6. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner closely with: Engineering (platform build)Data Science (ML models)Sales & Partnerships (market adoption)Align product strategy with broader business goals

What We’re Looking For

* Experience 10–15 years of product management.

* Experience 6+ years in Ads / Performance Marketing / Growth platforms.

* Experience in D2C, E-commerce, Marketplaces, or AdTech ecosystems.

* Core Expertise Deep experience in optimizing for: ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)Conversion funnels and growth metrics.

* Strong understanding of: First- party data ecosystems and audience activation Attribution models and measurement frameworks Familiarity with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, etc., with hands-on experience in attribution setup, campaign tracking, and performance analysis.

* Hands-on experience building: ML-led products (ranking, bidding, recommendation systems)Data platforms / decisioning systems Familiarity with: Programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs)Retail media and performance marketing platforms.

* Leadership & Product Skills Proven track record of building 0 → 1 products and scaling them successfully Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured product solutions. Strong stakeholder management across business, technology, and GTM teams.
