About the role
Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a System Administrator L3 to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. This person will manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
- Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problem and remains involved in the resolution process
- Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components
- Implements operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Here's what you need:
- 15 years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Experience with installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches in support of enterprise systems
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
